A desire to exemplify the traits of the mountain vineyard site, to capture the ethos and distinct sense of place, resulted in this noble wine being released as a single varietal. Tantalising, perfumed nose of pencil shavings and graphite. Mineral notes mingle with wild jasmine and subtle, herbal notes as it fully opens. Cool, sophisticated and compelling, with precise freshness and an abundance of elegant layers. Superb tension on the palate beautifully balanced by bright acidity and contrasting dense chalky tannins. Lush red and black fruity charm with spiciness, tobacco leaf and chalky graphite with some purple floral notes as it opens and a slight creamy texture on the bone dry finish.
