Haberer Family Wines.Founded in 2016, Thierry Haberer (Winemaker), with former founder Julien Verspieren, HABERER FAMILY WINES is, since 2021, owned by Thierry Haberer and his wife, Jené.Making wine around the world for two decades, with roots that go back earlier than that – His grandfather was a vine grower in Morocco and later a producer in Corsica, a French island in the Mediterranean Sea where his father still makes wine today! Thierry fell in love with South Africa at his first arrival in 2005. So when in 2016, the opportunity of making wine for themselves came, there was no hesitation: Rosalie, a Grenache-based rosé was made. Sagra, a Grenache/Syrah co-fermented red in the pure southern Rhône spirit, followed in 2017. Than Alma Chardonnay in 2018 and finally Milo, 100% Grenache was added to the collection of family wines. 4 wines handcrafted in limited quantities from selected vineyards in the Western Cape, South Africa.
