Every so often our Chief Winemaker sees something standout; an outstanding vintage, an exceptional block of vines, expressive minerality, exquisite intensity of fruit – and chooses to capture its finesse. Small parcels, hand selected blocks & always hand crafted. Viticulture Very late harvest, very low yielding vineyard under organic treatment, manual harvest. Winemaking 12 months in barrel with a distinct baroque style. Aromas Lifted floral and violet flower. Palate Rich, expressive and elegantly structured Syrah, harvested from a low yielding single vineyard. Lifted floral and violet aromas balance a rich and complex palate of succulent dark fruits, complemented with fragrant cedar notes and white pepper spice. Beautifully structured and full bodied with a fine minerality on the finish.
