The Macallan 15 Years Old Fine Oak is a single malt Scotch whisky matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned American and Spanish oak casks, and bourbon-seasoned American oak casks. This Triple Cask Matured expression is known for its smooth, delicate, and complex character. It has a rich straw color and offers a nose of rose and cinnamon, with notes of intense rich chocolate, orange, and raisin on the palate, and a lingering finish of chocolate, orange, and dried fruits.  Triple Cask Matured: This refers to the whisky’s maturation in three different types of oak casks: sherry-seasoned American oak, sherry-seasoned Spanish oak, and bourbon-seasoned American oak.  Color: Rich straw.  Nose: Aromas of rose and cinnamon, described as sublime and full.  Palate: Intense rich chocolate, with hints of orange and raisin.  Finish: Lingering, with notes of chocolate, orange, and dried fruits.
