This Bordeaux Red by Baron Philippe de Rothschild is a fruity and dense wine in the mouth, expressing notes of strawberry and cherry. It is the result of a blend of wines produced in the largest wine-growing region of Bordeaux, in the Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations, which are then aged under the control of the company’s winemakers, and packaged at the Mouton Cadet Winery Centre. Bordeaux BPHR Red is produced from a blend of wines produced in the most important wine region of Bordeaux, under the appellations Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur. LOCATION Each grape variety used in the blend of Bordeaux BPHR Red comes from a specific terroir. Merlots planted in clayey and calcareous soils give a good concentration of fruit and body to the wine, Cabernets Sauvignons and Cabernets Francs, planted in sandy and stony soils, make good wines with very flexible tannins.
